Visas are required to enter, exit or transit through the Kingdom of Cambodia. A single entry, 30 day tourist visa and some longer stay multiple entry visas are available at any Cambodian Embassy/Consulate before departure from country of origin. There are also a number of on-line Cambodian visa services. A visa upon arrival may be obtained at the two airports: Siem Reap and Phnom Penh and other border checkpoints. Citizens of Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam do not require visas and may stay in the Kingdom for 30 days. Citizens of Thailand and The Philippines may stay without a visa for 14 and 21 days respectively. Application for a tourist visa requires a passport with a minimum of six months validity from arrival date and at least one blank page for the visa.

General Information:

The Royal Sands Koh Rong is located on Koh Rong Island in southern Cambodia, an hour by boat west of Sihanoukville in the Gulf of Thailand.

From Phnom Penh: Travel south from the capital, Phnom Penh, to Sihanoukville via expressway, which will slash the journey time to our Port Gate and Boat Lounge to around 2 ½ hours

Some airlines operate flights into Sihanoukville from Siem Reap and other regional centers. The Royal Sands Koh Rong can arrange round-trip airport transfers for guests to and from the port, where the resort has its own ferry. Please refer to our transportation tariffs.
